Dance with Annie

My name is Annie. I received my Zumba Fitness and Zumba Gold certification in 2018, and have been leading weekly Zumba classes since then: working with both beginners and advanced participants. I had the chance to dance throughout Junior High and High School, and was later involved with a couple of different professional dance groups in Victoria, BC. 

I love sharing the enjoyment of dance fitness with others, staying active, and getting a good work out. We dance, we laugh, we're silly, and we grow to share the same passion for latin music and Zumba Fitness. I want all my participants to feel comfortable moving their bodies to various musical rhythm; I want them to feel whole, happy and confident when it comes to dance fitness even without any dance background. 

My goal is for the participants to feel they're getting a great workout in while having a great time. I want them to feel that time goes by quickly when they're having a fun work out. Participants’ motivation and dedication is something that constantly gives me the motivation to keep going, learning and being there for them. These Zumba Lovers truly have given me (and each other!) so much joy on this journey of Zumba Fitness!
